Barbara N. Sweat is the founder and CEO of Enlightening and Engaging Training Solutions. She leads with years of experience as a skillful communicator and facilitator.

Since 2003, Barbara has been an advocate for workplace learning. She believes the key to being an effective Learning and Development professional is connecting learning content to relevant, real-life situations. In doing so, theoretical knowledge is compared to life experiences, thus making skill development more easily applied in work situations. Many working professionals in the financial, non-profit, service delivery, pharmaceutical, and direct marketing business sectors trust Barbara’s engaging training skills.

Across the United States, hundreds of working professionals have experienced the positive impact of Barbara’s hands-on approach to adult learning. Her responsiveness to everyone’s learning style and experience is evident as she approaches adult learning with respect. As a result, her teachings are well received, and her success has is measured by the accomplishments of the people whom she’s trained, coached, and mentored.

She is a licensed administrator of the DISC Personality Assessment tool. She holds a Kirkpatrick’s Partners Levels of Evaluation Certificate to support her commitment to helping organizations achieve human capital success. Barbara’s extensive knowledge of HR Policies, Contact Center and Service operations are reinforced by degrees in Human Resource Management and Business Management. She is committed to using her knowledge and experience to devise effective training plans and unique content for organizations and individuals.
